Larry Carl Nelson passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 in Pocatello, Idaho.  Larry was born on December 7th, 1948 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to Carl and Irene(Robinson) Nelson.  He was Married to Micki Moeller on January 18, 1969 in Arpin, Wisconsin.

Larry graduated from Auburndale High School. He went to work at Northern Aire and later worked at Rollohome until he moved to Idaho.

Larry was a good man with a big heart.  He always had time for his family and friends, no matter what, sharing his love of the outdoors with them.  His family and friends were his world as he was theirs. As an original Wisconsinite, he was a huge Green Bay Packer fan. He left this world too soon and will forever be missed.

He is survived by and deeply missed by his wife, Micki, son, Bret Nelson, daughter, Jamie Nelson Flores(Darrick), and 5 grandchildren, Allisa and Becca Nelson, Justice, Alliyah, and Skyler Flores , all from Pocatello.  He is also survived by 6 siblings from Wisconsin, Betty Strobel, Doris(Melvin) Ott, Mary(Howard) Greeneway, Jean Sparks, Dennis Nelson and Karen(Brian) Barclay. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dwain, sisters, Marlene(Larry) Baumbach, and Joyce(Ed) Snyder.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Arpin, Wisconsin.  A lunch will follow the service.
