Age 83, of Marshfield, left this world to enter into her Lord’s loving arms Wednesday morning the 22nd of April, 2015 at Stoney River Memory Care in Marshfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield. Rev. Nathaniel Kuhn will officiate. Committal services will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date. Her family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Saturday from 9AM until time of services. The honor of pallbearer belongs to her grandsons: Corey and Christian Langreck, Dustin Mancl, Joshua Krause and Ben Alt.

Darlene was born May 9, 1931 in Marshfield to William and Anna (Wenzel) Feirer. She graduated from Marshfield Senior High in 1949. Darlene was united in marriage to Ray F. Alt Jr. on January 26, 1957 in Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church-Marshfield. Besides being a homemaker and raising her children, Darlene worked for Alt’s Sewing Machine Service and Alt’s Printing which both she and Raymond owned and operated.

Her hobbies included needlepoint and embroidery. With patient and skilled hands she made clothes for all her children. Her greatest love was playing and spending time with her grand-babies and great grand-babies. Darlene was a longtime member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church and St. John’s PCCW.

Survivors include her husband Ray F. Alt Jr. of Marshfield; her four children: Darla (Ray) Langreck of Marshfield, Lee (Pam) Alt of Marshfield, Lori (Fred) Priekschat of Spencer, Ann (Pat) Mancl of Marshfield; her grandchildren: Corey (Lori) Langreck of Eden Prairie, MN, Christian (Elaine) Langreck of Hartford, WI, Cami (Brandon) Broe of Oregon, WI, Ben Alt of Marshfield, Laura Krause of Spencer, Joshua Krause of Medford, Dustin (Fiancé Jennifer Zinda) Mancl of Marshfield, Samantha (Fiancé Talon Goss) Mancl of Cincinnati, OH; her great grandchildren Samuel, Bella, Ian, Harrison and Emma; two sisters: Jeanette Feirer and Audrey Feirer both of Marshfield; a sister-in-law Mary Lou Feirer of Colby along with many other relatives and friends.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Leia, two brothers and two sisters.
