James C. Trestik, Jr.

James C. Trestik Jr., 59, Junction City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital, Stevens Point.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore, where the visitation will be from 8:00 am on Saturday until service time. Rev. John Ofori-Domah will officiate and burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Martens / Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

James was born on February 8, 1958 in Marshfield, to James C. and Arlene (Cartwright) Trestik Sr. He was a 1977 graduate of Stevens Point Area Senior High School and also attended agricultural classes in Junction City through Midstate Technical School.

He married Dolores Kieliszewski and they later divorced.

Jim farmed on the family farm in the Town of Eau Pleine, Portage County. He enjoyed woodworking, building birdhouses, gardening, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed family get togethers and spending time with a special pet, Cinnamon.

Jim is survived by his children, Nicholas (Alejandra) Trestik of Junction City, Brenda (Steve) Trestik of Mosinee and Kristen (Adrian) Zapata of Rudolph. He is also survived by three grandchildren and his sister, Barbara (Michael) Clark of Milladore. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.
