Michael A. Schara
Michael A. Schara, 45, Stratford, died on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at his home.
Michael was born on January 29, 1972 in Marshfield to Rodell and Irene (Schara) Manecke. He was a 1990 graduate of Stratford High School. After his education, he served in the United States Air Force. He married Tara J. Egner on September 25, 1993 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Marshfield. At the time of his passing, Mike owned and operated Aquarius Engineering and Design.
Mike was a man who did whatever he wanted to with a passion. He could make you laugh until it hurt and challenge you to think so deeply you couldn’t wait for the next profound suggestion or another dose of his brand of sarcasm. Music was a driving force in his life that he could use to sooth anything that ailed you. He taught himself to play the drums and shared that talent as a member of Anybody’s Guess and the Border Riders. He relished a long, winding ride on a Harley with the wind in his hair (heehee). He also enjoyed tinkering with technology and helping with Kara’s 4-H rabbits. He rarely missed a chance to see the Packers play. He treasured the time he spent with his family and friends. He was never prouder of anything as he was of his two children.
Mike is survived by his wife Tara and their children, Michael James Schara (fiancé – Jenny R. Arrowood) of Marshfield and Kara Anne Schara of Stratford. He is also survived by his parents Rodell and Irene Manecke of Stratford and brothers, Jared Schara (and his children Andrew and Taylor) of Marshfield and Warren (Amy) Manecke (and their children Emily, Nicholas, and Kylee) and Tony Manecke, all of Stratford.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
