STRATFORD — All 10 Stratford players scored, and the Tigers made nine of 13 free throws in the second half to pull past Edgar 51-28 in a nonconference girls basketball game Tuesday night at Stratford High School.

Sammy Griesbach had a team-high 14 points, making all four of her free throws in the second half, and Andie Zuelke added 11 points and was 3-of-4 at the line in the second half for Stratford.

Stratford (2-0) led 21-18 at halftime before blowing the game open in the second half, holding Edgar to just 10 points.

Stratford plays another nonconference game at Colby on Nov. 29.
