MARSHFIELD – All six key contributors of the Columbus Dons boys’ basketball team that won the WIAA Div. 5 state championship last month are members of the Eastern Cloverbelt All-Conference squad for 2023-24.

First-team selections include Emmitt Konieczny, Blake Jakobi, and Charlie Moore of Marshfield Columbus. Other members include Joseph Streveler of Colby, Bryce Erickson of Neillsville and Quinn Hatlestad from the Owen-Withee team that made it all the way to the Sectional Finals, before losing to the same Solon Springs team which lost to Columbus in the Div. 5 state semifinals on March 15.

Second-team All-Conference selections include Cy Becker of Marshfield Columbus, Sam Bezlyk of Spencer, Loyal’s Bryce Deegan, Adrian Lopez of Colby, Cam Kennedy of Neillsville and Owen-Withee’s Vince Henke.

Honorable Mention selections are Lucas Kreklau and Mac Konieczny of Columbus, Colby’s Jackson Polivka, Jacob Schill and Reed Stieglitz of Loyal and Andrew Hoeser of Neillsville.

Meanwhile, Emmitt Konieczny, Blake Jakobi, and Charlie Moore of Columbus share the Eastern Cloverbelt Conference Player of the Year Award.
