NEILLSVILLE – The Neillsville Gross Motors was the victim of an early morning theft on Oct. 3, when individuals in a white cargo van took the wheels and tires off seven lot vehicles, including Chevy Tahoe and Silverado vehicles.

The incident occurred at 4:15 a.m.

After taking the tires, the thieves left the vehicles on cement blocks.

This is very similar to several other dealership thefts that occurred across the state earlier this year.

“I talked to some other guys and it sounds like Marquardts in Eau Claire, Southworth in Bloomer, Don Johnson in Rice Lake or Hayward, Keyes in Menomonie,” Gross said. “It sounds like they are making a loop here.”

Gross said the dealership is offering a $5,000 reward for the stolen tires and wheels.  If you have any information about this crime contact Gross Motors at 715-743-3207 or the Neillsville Police Department at 715-743-3122.
