MARSHFIELD – The search for Wisconsin’s up and coming superstars continues this summer as Central Wisconsin’s Got Talent returns to Hub City Days in Marshfield.

On July 28, beginning at 4 p.m. at the new Wenzel Family Plaza, acts from around the central Wisconsin area will be taking the stage to showcase their talents with the hopes of winning the top prize of $500.

The competition is open to people of all ages displaying any talent – music, dance, juggling, magic, drama, comedy, pet tricks, and more. Acts can be solo or groups. A panel of judges with expertise in various areas will be critiquing each act and determining the winners. Acts are allowed a maximum of five minutes to perform.

This year, once again, we have the chance to send one youth act, ages 2-12, and/or one teen, ages 13-18, to the state competition at the Wisconsin State Fair in August, where they could compete for a grand prize of $4,000.

A sound system is provided, but contestants are required to provide their own instruments and/or pre-recorded accompaniment, but no karaoke acts are allowed. Lonie G will be providing both sound technician and emcee services.

There is no cost to participate or to attend the performance. Pre-registration is strongly recommended as there are limited time slots available. For more information, contact [email protected].
