MARSHFIELD – A recent graduate of Granton High School has been elected as central Wisconsin’s new state FFA officer. Jillian Tyler was chosen as a state vice president at the Wisconsin FFA Convention, held June 11-14 in Madison, where she represents FFA chapters in Clark, Wood, Taylor, Lincoln, and Portage Counties.
Tyler has been active in FFA throughout her high school career and has earned many awards for her dairy and swine projects. She also competed as a finalist for the state FFA Star Farmer award.
Jillian was her school’s valedictorian for the class of 2018. She plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-River Falls this fall, majoring in agricultural education.
