Nolan nets hat trick to lift Point-Rapids-Marshfield girls hockey past Fox Cities

STEVENS POINT — Point-Rapids-Marshfield made the most of the shots on goal it got, converting on six of 11 to beat the Fox Cities Stars (Appleton Xavier co-op) 6-3 in a girls hockey game Monday at Ice Hawks Arena.

Emily Nolan hit for a hat trick for PRM (8-7), and Leah Gruen, Kiley Kopf and Alayna Bruneau also scored for the Red Panthers.

Pistol Cowden had 34 saves in goal for Point-Rapids-Marshfield.

PRM hosts Northern Edge (Rhinelander/Antigo co-op) on Thursday at Stevens Point.
