Stratford girls basketball clamps down on Northland Lutheran

Tigers now 10-2 this season

MOSINEE — Stratford jumped out to a big lead by halftime and cruised to a 54-19 win over Northland Lutheran in a Marawood Conference South Division girls basketball game Friday night at Northland Lutheran High School.

Andie Zuelke scored nine of her 12 points in the first half as the Tigers rolled out to a 37-10 lead.

Kaylee Hollatz also scored 12 points, Taya Nett added 11, and Blaire Linder had 10 for Stratford, which is now 10-2 overall and 5-1 in the Marawood South. Northland Lutheran falls to 4-7 and 1-4 in the conference.

Stratford held the Wildcats to just four made field goals.

Stratford is off until Thursday when it hosts Wausau Newman Catholic.
