AUBURNDALE — The Auburndale girls basketball team wasted no time in dismantling Northland Lutheran, using a 26-3 first-half run on its way to a 56-26 victory in a Marawood Conference South Division game Friday night at Auburndale High School.

Tyalor Gotz put up 21 points to lead Auburndale, which had eight different players score in the win.

Auburndale (7-2, 4-2 Marawood South) led 26-3 at halftime as it rolled to the 30-point victory.

Northland Lutheran (3-9, 0-5 Marawood South) made just five baskets in the game, with 13 of its points coming at the free throw line.

The Apaches will return to action Tuesday for a nonconference game at Nekoosa.
