MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield girls soccer team’s offensive struggles continued as it dropped a 4-1 decision to Ashland in a nonconference match Friday at Griese Park.

Marshfield took a 1-0 lead on an own goal by Ashland 20:20 into the game.

Ashland’s Hailey Heino responded with a goal 6:25 later, and the Oredockers scored three times in the second half to win going away.

Andrea Carolfi had 10 saves in goal for the Tigers. Marshfield had just two shots on goal in the loss, and it falls to 2-5 this season.

Marshfield’s next game is Tuesday at Merrill.
