Thomas E. Vesely, 89, Marshfield passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at House of Dove, Marshfield.
Private funeral services will be at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield.
Thomas was born on January 15, 1936 in Cicero, Illinois to John and Ella (Doubek) Vesely. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 - 1956. On June 29, 1957, he was united in marriage to Dolores Prochaska in Berwyn, IL. She passed away on December 1, 2014.
Thomas worked for the telephone company in Chicago for 19 years. He and Dolores then moved to Curtiss, Clark County and farmed until retiring and moving to the City of Marshfield in 2005.
He was an amazing wood carver, including chainsaw carved bears, and numerous wooden crosses which were distributed all over the world.
He is survived by his children John (Shelley) Vesely of Machesney Park, IL, Thomas Vesely of Cadott, Robert (Connie) Vesely of Wausau and Sandra (Gary) Habermeyer of Marshfield; 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Edward Vesely, and sister Gladys Gilmore.
