Robert “Bobby” “Little Bob” passed away peacefully September 2 at The House of the Dove. Bobby was born in Milwaukee on May 21, 1965, to Robert and Marlene Parise. Bobby was born with spina bifida which meant his life was filled with physical and mobility issues every single day. He handled all those challenges with acceptance and grace and most importantly patience. As a child, he walked on his hands when he didn’t want to use his crutches. As a teen, he was a master skateboarder. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in West Allis. After high school he worked for Gates Manufacturing for 14 years before moving to Marshfield in the mid 90’s. Bobby was always cheering on the Packers and Jeff Gordon in Nascar. He attended many Packer games and several Nascar races over the years. His smile and good nature drew people in. Those that knew him well appreciated his strong will, steadfast opinions and love of life. Bobby was not religious but was a spiritual man. He loved all of God’s creations and showed respect and kindness wherever he went. He was a firm believer that there was meaning in everything. Bobby bought a camper and spent his last 12 summers on the shores of the Wolf River near Fremont. He called it his Happy Place and made many friends during his time there.
Bobby is survived by his brother Daniel (Beth) of Germantown WI and his lifelong friend Todd (Karen) Beyer of Marshfield. He was preceded in death by his sister Dora and parents Marlene and Bob. A small ceremony will be held on the shore of the Wolf River at Triangle Farms Campground on September 19th at 3:00. His wishes will be fulfilled when his cremains are placed in the river.
