Treasured wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Marilyn Marlene Burger, 88, Marshfield, entered into eternal life with Christ on September 12, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay with her family by her side.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 29 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield with Reverend Chris Schwanz officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 10 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Marshfield. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Marilyn was born on July 22, 1938, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, the only child of Arnold and Clara (Korth) Federwitz. On October 28, 1963, she was united in marriage to David Burger.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 62 years David; her adoring children Jennifer (Gregory) Grose of Sheboygan, Timothy (Jill) Burger of Sugar Hill, NH, Stephanie (Patrick) Stoa of Green Bay and Melissa Burger of Middleton; and her dear grandchildren Andrew, Amelia and Olivia Grose; Rosalyn, Anthony, Joseph, Eleanor, Meredith and Paul Stoa; Quincy and Evelyn Burger. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Cecilia Johnson of Edgar and Theresa David of Marshfield, along with many friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
