Josh Becker, 37 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Key West ,Florida on January 7.
Joshua Louis Becker was born on September 19, 1987 to Dave and Jane (Kiddoo) Becker in Marshfield ,Wisconsin at Saint Joseph’s Hospital. Josh attended Lincoln Elementary and Marshfield Junior and Senior High. He enjoyed being in band, and was very proud of achieving “first chair” with his clarinet consistently. Josh loved picking up any instrument and trying to play it, and marching at Disney World in their parade was a high school highlight. The bands' visit to The Atlantis in the Bahamas set off his desire to travel and live somewhere warm. FFA also meant a lot to him as he loved showing cattle and rabbits at the fair. He also milked cows on his Grandpa Al’s farm. Josh had a life long love for animals, (and collecting them.
After high school, Josh traveled and lived in various states. He was very proud to be a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School Houston. This enabled him to pursue his calling in cosmetology. An interesting and creative career followed for Josh, which led him to achieve one of his life dreams – owning his own salon –Anagen. being able to do that in Key West was also a life’s dream come true. Gardening and growing orchids came naturally to him there.
Josh’s ability to light up a room with his smile, laugh, and quick wit will be greatly missed by his family and friends, especially his family. Josh is survived by his parents Jane Kiddoo and Dave (Jane) Becker, his siblings Leanna Becker, Jeremy (Cassidy) Becker, Dustin (Angela) Gregurich and Tonya Gregurich. He is also survived by beloved family members-his niece and nephews, sister in laws, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and his Grandma Carol as well as a far stretching abundance of friends.
Josh was preceded in death by his Aunt Kate and his Grandparents: Grandpa Clyde, Grandma Dot, Grandpa Al, Grandpa Ivan and Grandma Laurie.
A private family Memorial will be held and a Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends in Key West at a later date.
