DR. NANDITA BHATTACHARJEE

Dr. Nandita Bhattacharjee, age 63, of Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at House of the Dove in Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church in Marshfield, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Anna von Winckler will officiate. The service will be streamed online at www.fpcmarshfield.org. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Nandita was born on April 29, 1962, in Marl, Germany. She graduated from George Washington High School in Philadelphia, PA and went on to attend Bryn Mawr College. She earned a Master of Health Administration (MHA) before completing her Doctor of Medicine (MD), both at The Ohio State University. On August 25, 1984, she married Dr. Jonathan Reeser at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Philadelphia, PA.

Professionally, Nandita served as a Radiologist and also held the role of corporate secretary at Marshfield Clinic. Beyond her medical career, she became a certified financial advisor, reflecting her diverse talents and dedication to helping others.

Nandita had a wide range of interests and passions, including knitting, cooking, journaling, writing, reading, traveling, and enjoying music and the arts—especially within the Marshfield and Stevens Point communities. She took great pride in nurturing her children and found deep joy in her home, lovingly referred to as her “palace” in Marshfield. Known for her warmth, generosity, and social spirit, she cherished time with friends and was a devoted caregiver to her husband. Her philanthropic nature and unwavering compassion left a lasting legacy of kindness and wisdom.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Jonathan Reeser; her sons, Alex (Katie Rose) Reeser of Los Angeles, CA, and Michael Reeser of Minneapolis, MN; her mother; and her sister.

She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to all who supported Nandita during the final chapter of her life.
