KRONENWETTER — Northland Lutheran scored three times in the bottom of the seventh inning to send the Auburndale baseball team to a disappointing 7-6 loss in Marawood Conference South Division baseball action Friday.
Auburndale (6-6, 4-6 Marawood South) scored four times in the third inning and added another in the seventh to take a 6-4 lead before the Wildcats rallied against Apaches pitcher Cam Ertl.
Ertl struck out four and walked two in the loss.
Cason Schmutzer and Dylan Altmann each had two hits, and Altmann drove in three of the Apaches’ six runs.
Auburndale hosts Wausau Newman Catholic on Monday.
