Badger State youth baseball competition kicks off

CENTRAL WISCONSIN – Badger State Games Youth Baseball competition took place June 12-14 at Steven J. Miller Recreation Area in Marshfield.

Final results:

16U: 1st, Eau Claire; 2nd, Marshfield Sand Lot. 14U: 1st, Eau Claire South Siders; 2nd, Arsenal – Abbotsford, Edgar, Marathon, and Medford; 3rd, Eau Claire YA’s; 4th Hallie Heat. 12U: 1st, Birnamwood; 2nd, Wisconsin Rapids; 3rd, Valley Stars – Eau Claire; 4th, Marshfield Sand Lot – Red. 10U: 1st, Hudson; 2nd, Hallie Heat – Blue; 3rd, Hallie Heat – Red; 4th, Marshfield Sand Lot – Red.

Youth competition in the 9U, 11U, 13U, and 15U divisions will take place June 19-21, with 33 teams participating.
