Stratford volleyball continues bid for state

MARSHFIELD – The Stratford Tigers volleyball team continues the run for WIAA Division 3 state finals, beating Fall Creek Oct. 25 at Neillsville High School.
Stratford took the first two games of the sectional semifinal 25-16 and 25-21, before losing the third game 22-25. The Tigers then came back and claimed the final game 25-21 and finished with a 3-1 evening to claim the right to advance.
The Tigers will now face St. Mary Catholic in Neenah on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. The winner of that match will head to state finals in Green Bay Nov. 1-3.
