MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Convention & Visitors Bureau has launched a new effort to attract shoppers, diners, and others to explore the Hub City’s bustling downtown.

The Destination Downtown Giveaway, which runs through Aug. 3, encourages visitors to explore everything downtown has to offer, from its abundance of popular restaurants to events like the weekly farmers’ market and Downtown Friday Nights.

To enter the sweepstakes, fans can visit the Marshfield CVB’s website, www.visitmarshfield.com, click on the link and fill out a short form for a chance to win. At the end of the sweepstakes, one grand-prize winner will receive a two-night stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center Marshfield and $200 in chamber bucks.

Tammy Schneider of De Pere was selected as the grand-prize winner of the recent Family Fun Sweepstakes promotion, which highlighted family-friendly events and attractions in the area.

She received a two-night stay for up to four people at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center Marshfield, certificates for laser tag and mini golf at Hub City Adventure, and $50 in Chamber bucks.
