MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is going to have forms to fill out to suggest names for the two male Kodiak bear cubs soon to call Wildwood Zoo home on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Maple Fall Fest. Look for ballot boxes at the Wildwood Zoo booth, the Marshfield Common Council booth, and the Maple Village Tent with the CVB, which will be next to the pancake tent. Information will also be released on the CVB’s Facebook page and other partner pages as well.

You can also send suggested names to info@visitmarshfield.com, or stop by the CVB or Marshfield Parks & Recreation offices next week. The suggestions contest will run for about two weeks, and then the CVB will take the top six names and ask people to vote for their favorites in anticipation of the bears’ arrival in late October. All entries will be entered into a drawing to win prizes.

Call 715-384-4314 with any questions.
