Begins at 11 a.m. on Feb. 2

By Mike Winch

Street Superintendent

A snow emergency for the city of Marshfield will begin at 11 a.m. on Feb. 2 and will remain in effect until all snow and ice removal operations have been completed. Based on the current weather predictions, I anticipate that the snow emergency will remain in effect through Thursday, Feb. 4.

When a snow emergency is in effect, parking on city of Marshfield streets is prohibited.

Street division snow plowing operations will conclude at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, and then recommence at 3 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, with citywide snow plowing, deicing, and phase II snow hauling if time allows.

At the conclusion of operations on Feb. 2, street division staff will be limited and will only respond to emergency service requests. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact my office at 715-486-2081.
