Columbus Catholic volleyball knocks off Owen-Withee

Dons now 3-2 in Cloverbelt East

OWEN — The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team ended its two-match losing streak with a 3-1 win over Owen-Withee on Thursday at Owen-Withee High School.

The Dons won 25-17, 20-25, 25-13, 25-21 to improve to 3-2 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division. Owen-Withee is now 0-3 in the conference.

Jennifer Reigel had 27 assists, Kendra Baierl had 13 kills, and Sierra Litwaitis had 19 digs to lead Columbus Catholic in each category. Baierl also had six of the Dons’ 17 aces.

Columbus’ next match is Oct. 1 at Granton against Loyal/Granton.
