MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MACCI) welcomed four new directors to its board at its February meeting.

Matt Eckelberg of Hawkins Ash CPAs, LLP, joined the firm in 1997. He began as an intern and has advanced his career to partner. Eckelberg has thorough experience in audits and taxes and provides these services to commercial entities, individuals, and profit-sharing 401(k) plans. His community involvement includes the Spencer Lions Club and Marshfield Noon Rotary, and he is a MACCI Ambassador.

Cory Latourell is general manager at Hotel Marshfield and brings high-level operations and training know-how to the position. Latourell holds an associate degree in hotel management and is both a certified hospitality administrator and certified hospitality educator, designations earned through The American Hotel & Lodging Education Institute. While her work has taken her from one end of the United States to the other, she has called Marshfield home for six years. Latourell also serves on the board for the Marshfield Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Amy Nystrom joined PreventionGenetics in January 2013 and is the company’s chief strategy officer. With a 28-year career in the financial, information technology, and dental industries, Nystrom has a wide breadth of business experience. Nystrom holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and earned her master’s degree in business administration. Nystrom and her husband, Alan, along with their two children, are very active in the Marshfield community, in particular with Mike’s Run, Rotary Winter Wonderland, and the Marshfield Area United Way. Amy Nystrom currently serves on the North Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board as well as the Centergy Board.

Ron Wilczek is Vice President-Business Banking at BMO Harris Bank. He serves the community by being on the Board of Trustees for the Marshfield Area Community Foundation and as a volunteer with MACCI, Columbus Catholic Schools, Our Lady of Peace Church, Marshfield Clinic, and other organizations. He is active in coaching youth sports and previously served as the men’s head basketball coach at UW-Marshfield/Wood County. Wilczek and his wife Teri have three children and reside in Marshfield.

Others serving the membership on the board are Neil Armitage, Dental Clinic of Marshfield; Nick Arnoldy, Marshfield Insurance; Frank Baltus, Baltus Company; Jerry Cleveland, Ministry Home Care; Todd Diedrich, Marshfield Clinic; Sharon Helwig, RE/MAX American Dream; Dave Meissner, Norm-E-Lane Farm; Phil Trierweiler, Roehl Transport; Bob Trussoni, Marshfield Utilities; Troy Weik, A&B Process Systems Corp.; and Pat Wesenberg, Central City Credit Union.
