Hub City Times: Where you born and raised in Marshfield?
Michaelynn Larson: I was born in Marshfield, and then I moved to Greenwood, and now I’m back here. I’ve been here for the last 15 years.
HCT: What did you do in Greenwood?
ML: I went to high school there, and as soon as I graduated I got out of there.
HCT: What is the nature of your work?
ML: I am a chiropractic assistant. I answer phones and schedule appointments and give the doctors grief.
HCT: Have you been at Allied Health for the last 15 years?
ML: No. No, I’ve been here since February of this year.
HCT: Do you enjoy your work?
ML: Yes, I very much enjoy my job.
HCT: What do you like about being in the Marshfield community?
ML: It’s very diverse. You have a bunch of different types of people that live here, always something to do regardless if, you know, you’re an artsy person, you’re more of a food person. There’s always something. Top notch healthcare is great, having a clinic right down the road if you need it instead of having to travel.
HCT: What do you like to do when you are out and about in Marshfield?
ML: I enjoy going out to try different restaurants when they open. Shopping, you know that’s always a favorite girl thing to do. Otherwise just enjoy the trails, the parks that Marshfield has to offer.
HCT: Is there anything you would like to see changed about Marshfield?
ML: A little bit more job opportunity other than the healthcare industry, make it a little bit more diverse than just healthcare.
