Marshfield’s Molly Field medalist at third leg of Clover Valley Golf League Tournament

NEILLSVILLE – Marshfield’s Molly Field was meet medalist and the Tigers posted a third-place finish in the third leg of the Clover Valley Golf League Tournament on Tuesday at Neillsville Country Club.

The third-place finish is the Tigers’ best so far this season in the CVGL series and they remain in fifth place in the season standings.

Field shot a 43 to edge Osseo-Fairchild’s Amanda Pederson by one stroke for medalist honors. Pederson leads the overall individual standings.

Jordyn Fitzgerald tied for third with a 46, and Ana Jensen added a 53 and Patty Jo Bloczynski had a 64 to round out the scoring for Marshfield.

The fourth leg of the tournament is Thursday at Eau Claire Country Club.
