Position or events: Center 

Career highlight: Going to Florida with my teammates my junior year 

At what age did you start playing your main sport? 

Fourth grade.

Who introduced you to the sport? 

My dad.

Has this always been your favorite sport? 

Yeah, I used to play baseball, but I’ve always had a love for basketball.

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year? 

It’s definitely a little different; especially as a captain, you have more responsibilities on and off the court, and academics is definitely one of them but I just try to stay on top of everything because your academics directly affects how you play on the court.

What is your favorite part about this sport? 

All the places I’ve been able to travel and people I’ve met along my journey. 

What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?

The support from my dad; he knew what it was gonna take for me to get to the next level so just believing in him has helped me stick with it even through the hard times.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)? 

Definitely a surreal feeling I remember always hearing how fast highschool is going to go by, and I’m starting to realize i only have a little bit longer but Im glad to be here for my senior season with the guys I’ve been playing with for so long.

Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to? 

Coach Fischer, for sure; he’s taught me a lot ever since I’ve been playing with him since my sophomore year along with Toby Hegner, although I had him for one season he still pushed me and showed me a whole different level of hard work.

A couple teammates, like Brooks and Landon, along with the rest of the senior class from last year. They just paved the way and showed me how to be a good leader and the hard work it takes to get where you want to be.

Any hobbies outside of sports? 

I like hanging out with my guys playing NBA 2K.

Future plans? (college, major, career, etc.) 

Attending UW-La Crosse to continue playing basketball and majoring in something for business.
