Marshfield woman sentenced to one year in prison for drug trafficking case

MARSHFIELD--Shandel L. Mohr, 32, of Marshfield was sentenced to 12 months and one day to federal prison for conspiring to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine. Mohr’s time in prison will be followed by three years of supervised release. Mohr pleaded guilty to this charge on Aug. 20, 2024.
After several years of investigation which began in Feb. of 2022, officers seized packages containing drugs from the mail, controlled purchases of narcotics, and firearms and large quanties of drugs from an operation based out of Wausau. Based on the results of the investigation, officers believe kilogram quanities of cocaine and methamphetmine were being distributed.
Mohr was identifed as a cocaine dealer for the operation who would work in the area. The individual who previously worked in Mohr’s role to sell drugs in the Marshfield area had been arrested, leading Mohr to be recruited to take over distribution in Marshfield.
Eight other individuals were also charged in regards to the drug trafficking organization.
