Auburndale volleyball downs Assumption

AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale Apaches volleyball team met up with the Assumption Royals on Sept. 10 at Auburndale High School.

The Apaches beat Assumption in straight sets 3-0, with scores of 25-20, 25-21, and 25-9.

Natalie Aue led Auburndale with five assisted blocks. Isabelle Hilber led the team in attacks with eight kills.

Assumption stats were not available.

Auburndale plays next on Sept. 12 when they travel to Iola-Scandanavia. Assumption will face Edgar at home on Sept. 17.
