The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Marshfield will sponsor their eighth annual Angel of Hope Tree fundraiser at Pick-n-Save, Shopko, Festival Foods, and within the lodge itself, throughout the holiday season, to provide hope to cancer patients.

Shoppers select a tag from the Christmas tree, purchase the suggested item, and place the item in the box provided. These household items help make staying at the Hope Lodge comfortable.

Over the past year, more than 8,500 complimentary overnight stays were provided to cancer patients and their caregivers, saving guests nearly $1.4 million in lodging expenses alone.  The Hope Lodge in Marshfield and the services provided to cancer patients exist because of the generosity of its donors, both individuals and corporations, who have partnered with the American Cancer Society to relieve the burden of those battling cancer.
