MARSHFIELD — The United States Marine Corps Reserve has been making Christmas wishes come true for children through Toys for Tots since 1947. The organization is asking for help in sending children of the Marshfield area a message of hope this Christmas through the gift of a new, unwrapped toy.

Toys can be dropped off at Toys for Tots collection boxes throughout the city until Dec. 6. All toys collected in the Marshfield area will be distributed to the children of this area.

The following Marshfield businesses are toy collection points: Associated Bank’s south and north locations, AT&T, Baymont Inn, Book World, Burger King, Check Into Cash, Edward Jones, Fleet Farm, High Street Salon & Travel, Holiday Inn, Hotel Marshfield, Jack’s Bar, Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Marshfield Police Department, Melody
Gardens Restaurant & Skateland, Menards, Mid-State Truck, SensoryEffects, Sherwin Williams, Shopko, Simplicity Credit Union, Sport & Spine Clinic, Sternweis & Sons, Stoney River Assisted Living, Stoney River Memory Care, Tricor Insurance, V&H Heavy Trucks, V&H Automotive, and the Marshfield Clinic Health System YMCA.

Monetary donations can be sent to Toys for Tots, Melody Gardens, 1200 S. Oak Ave., Marshfield, WI 54449 with checks made out to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, or visit the Wood County Toys for Tots website at marshfield-wi.toysfortots.org to donate online.
