MARSHFIELD — A group of Marshfield area philanthropic educational organization (PEO) supporters will continue a 40-year tradition Nov. 18 with its annual Holiday Boutique.
“This is a Marshfield tradition that dates back to the 1970s and is (typically) held over the ‘deer widows’ weekend,” said Janet Stewart. “We have a fantastic lineup of artists and vendors this year.
“About 30 vendors will offer a mix of pottery, jewelry, woven baskets, handmade blankets, natural beauty products, new children’s books, and stuffed animals, plus gently used handbags and books.”
PEO works to provide scholarships for women. Proceeds from the event will help provide local, state, and international PEO scholarships.
This year’s event will be held Nov. 18 at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center, 750 S. Central Ave. in Marshfield, and will feature specialty booths from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a cookie walk at 11 a.m.
