Marshfield just missed out qualifying as a team, shooting a 456, 14 shots behind fourth-place Westby/Viroqua. Onalaska (358), Stevens Point (395), and Tomah (398) also earned team spots in the sectional.

Erin Ericson of Onalaska was the meet medalist, shooting an 82. Ginny Yahnke of Sparta (88), Madison Strangfled of Wisconsin Rapids (100), and Grace Amundson of La Crosse Central/Logan (105) earned the other individual sectional berths.

Morgan Meyer had a 113, Isabelle Jensen and Anna Weis shot 117, and Leia Linzmeier had a 125 to round out the scoring for Marshfield.

The top two teams and top three individuals not on the qualifying teams move on to the 2017 WIAA State Girls Golf Tournament, which will be held Oct. 9-10 at University Ridge Golf Course in Verona.
