SPENCER — “Come Together” is the theme for the 2016-2017 LuCille Tack Center for the Arts season, which is what a group of people does every third Monday in Curtiss. The Curtiss Quilters come together to stitch and carry on some friendly conversation. The group numbers 20 and has met for the last 29 years at The Old School in Curtiss.

The quilters’ work will be on display in the LuCille Tack Center for the Arts gallery during the month of March. An open house will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 3. Everyone is invited to come and meet many of the quilters. On display will be both hand-stitched and machine-stitched quilts.

The quilt exhibit can be viewed during the open house, during performances, or by an appointment. To make an appointment, call the Tack Center box office at 715-659-4499. Box office hours are 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
