Stratford football shuts out Rib Lake/Prentice

Tigers surge to 5-0 in Marawood

STRATFORD — The Stratford football team stayed in control of the Marawood Conference by whipping Rib Lake/Prentice 35-0 in a conference tilt Friday night at Tiger Stadium.

The Tigers — now 5-1 overall and 5-0 in the Marawood — maintain a one-game lead over Marathon, a team it defeated on Aug. 26, in the conference standings. Rib Lake/Prentice falls to 4-2 overall and in the Marawood and is tied with Edgar for third in the conference after Marathon beat Edgar 21-9 on Friday.

Stratford hosts Auburndale next Friday.
