Marshfield volleyball sweeps Wausau East

Tigers host first-place D.C. Everest on Thursday

WAUSAU — Stephanie Rhodes had 11 kills and 12 digs to help Marshfield volleyball to a 3-0 sweep of Wausau East in a Wisconsin Valley Conference match Tuesday night at East High School.

The Tigers won 25-20, 25-9, 25-20 to improve to 3-2 in the Valley. East drops to 1-4.

Anna Ripp had a team-high 23 assists, three service aces, and 10 digs, and Alexa Aumann added eight digs for the Tigers. Abby Pritzl also had 10 digs for Marshfield.

Marshfield takes on first-place D.C. Everest at 7 p.m. Thursday at home.
