Letter to the editor: Reader not pleased with school budget
Dear editor,
Has anyone checked the website for the proposed reduction list for the Marshfield schools at marshfieldschools.org/cms/lib010/WI01919828/Centricity/Domain/4/ProposedReductions.pdf?
Good luck. This is nontransparency at its finest. If you are able to navigate through this site, you can decide what is necessary or not in the reduction list.
Marshfield residents are expected to vote for this referendum in November, and you should be aware of the actual facts. I do want our children to have the best education affordable, but there appears to be a lot of “fat” that could be eliminated in the school budget. Let us spend our tax dollars in a prudent manner.
