Nobody hurt in Marshfield mobile home fire

MARSHFIELD — A fire caused significant damage to a mobile home in Marshfield yesterday. The fire, which is still under investigation, occurred at 2215 S. Maple Ave., Lot 448.

The home was vacant at the time of the fire.

According to a news release from the Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department, the entire home sustained heavy smoke damage, and the rear half of the dwelling experienced heavy fire damage. Fourteen firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. According to the report, $3,300 worth of damage was done to the property.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
