Horticulture presentation to be held at St. Joseph’s Hospital
An Earth Week event, “Hummingbirds, Butterflies and Bees: Attracting Pollinators,” will be offered Monday, April 20, in the Mother Frances Streitel Conference Center at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
Join Bud Arnold, horticulturalist and garden center manager at Schalow’s Nursery, as he talks about turning any space into a beneficial garden habitat.
Arnold received his degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with backgrounds in broadfield horticulture and landscape architecture with a design emphasis.
Registration and refreshments will be at 5:30 p.m. followed by the presentation from 6-7 p.m. There also will be time for questions. There will also be educational handouts and door prizes. To register please call 1-800-362-9900 and name the event title.
Parking is available in Clinic Lot E, located across the street from the Conference Center.
