Marshfield volleyball rolls past Wausau East for fifth straight Valley win

WAUSAU – The Marshfield volleyball team won its fifth-straight Wisconsin Valley Conference match, downing Wausau East 3-0 on Thursday at East High School.
Marshfield won 25-19, 25-10, 25-12, to improve to 5-2 in the conference. East is now 2-6.
Natalie Zuelke had 10 kills, Stephanie Rhodes added nine kills and six blocks, and Sara Dasler had 13 digs for the Tigers.
Jenny Scheppler had a team-high five service aces, and setters Ellie Fehrenbach and Anna Ripp had 14 and 12 assists, respectively.
Marshfield will play Merrill, Wausau West and Wisconsin Rapids at the second Wisconsin Valley Conference Tournament on Saturday at Merrill.
