City seeks applicants for utility board

Marshfield residents interested in serving on the Utility Commission are asked to submit a letter to Mayor Chris Meyer by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29.

The Utility Commission oversees Marshfield’s water, electric and communications utilities.The letter must state qualifications and reasons for wanting to serve on the commission.

The names of the candidates will be presented to the Common Council at its meeting Tuesday, Sept. 9.  The council will elect one person to the five-member board at its meeting Tuesday, Sept. 23.
