The City of Marshfield would like to invite Residents to participate in a “visioning workshop” to help shape the future of Downtown Marshfield.  The meeting will take place Wednesday, Sept.  17 from 5:30 p.m.– 7:30 p.m., at the Chestnut Avenue Center for the Arts (208 S. Chestnut Ave. Marshfield).

Those who would like to attend are asked to RSVP by Friday Sept. 12 to Josh Miller at 715-486-2075 or josh.miller@ci.marshfield.wi.us

The meeting will be conducted by the city’s consultant team of Place Dynamics and Short Elliott Hendrickson.

Participants will learn about the philosophy of place-making as a guiding principle for successful downtown revitalization including case studies of successful downtown parks, residential development, and pedestrian improvements. Participants will also take part in a place-based mapping exercise to identify specific locations in the community that need improvement or show future potential.
