Local truck dealership celebrates 16 years of giving back with annual Truckers for Tots Campaign

Posted

MARSHFIELD--Mid-State Truck Service, now Ascendance Truck Centers, announced the continuation of giving back to local communities through a 16-year tradition, Truckers for Tots. Mid-State Truck Service started Truckers for Tots 16 years ago to support the Toys for Tots mission of alleviating some financial stress of the holidays while making sure children have something to open on Christmas morning.
Ascendance Truck Centers acquired Mid-State Truck Service in Feb. 2024 and recognized the impact this initiative has on its local communities and has vowed to continue the tradition.
Toys for Tots is a top-rated charity; 97% of donations goes to their mission of providing toys, books and other gifts to less fortunate children. The objectives of the Foundation are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – children; to unite members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to improving communities in the future.
The success of Truckers for Tots is a testament to the generosity and commitment of the communities, customers, and industry partners who have joined to spread joy and make a positive impact on the lives of children during the holiday season.
This year ‘s campaign has been made possible through collaboration with local Toys for Tots program coordinators, donors throughout the community, and major transportation donors; Furniture & ApplianceMart, Roehl Transportation, and Dave Evans Transports. The chosen toy retailer, Fleet Farm, continues to support the campaign and plays a pivotal role in organizing and executing these shopping events.
