Burgess is new Citizens State Bank of Loyal executive VP/chief lending officer

LOYAL – Josh Burgess is the new Citizens State Bank of Loyal executive VP/chief lending officer

In this leadership role, Burgess will oversee all the bank’s lending origination and operations.

He joins CSB Loyal with a banking career spanning 20 years in business development, lending and strategic leadership roles.

“I am excited to Join the team at Citizens State Bank of Loyal and get back to my roots in central Wisconsin,” said Burgess. “Citizens State Bank of Loyal has a rich history of supporting the local community through agricultural, residential and commercial lending, and I am excited to be a part of the future of both the organization and the communities that we serve.”

Burgess, a Neillsville/Marshfield-area native. His early career history as a business banking manager for Associated Bank and Wells Fargo Bank led to his leadership experience as market president for United Prairie Bank in Southern Minn.

He most recently served as the chief banking officer for Commerce Bank in southern Minnesota.

Josh and his wife Katherine, also a Wisconsin native, are raising three children — Caleb, Lydia and Abigail.
