MARSHFIELD – The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin is partnering with the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library to offer a six-week program for family caregivers, called “Powerful Tools for Caregivers.”
This program is designed to provide family caregivers with the tools they need to take care of themselves while in a caregiver role.
Participants will learn how to reduce stress, improve self-care, better communicate feelings and needs, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.
Sessions are held on Thursdays, Sept. 25-Oct. 30, 1-2:45 p.m., at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library, 105 S. Maple Ave., Marshfield.
