Threats
On Feb. 29 at 1:57 p.m. a Marshfield female reported that a 31-year-old Marshfield male had been contacting her and his estranged wife to try to convince the wife to meet with him. When the wife refused, the male threatened to kill the complainant. The male also threatened to kill his wife and her family in addition to burning the house down if she did not meet with him. The man was found and transported to the Wood County Jail.

Theft
On Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. an employee of a Marshfield department store reported that a 22-year-old Marshfield male had stolen a number of items before fleeing on foot. The man was located by officers on North Maple Avenue. The man was given a probation hold and issued a citation for trespassing before being taken to the Marathon County Jail.

Attempted escape
On Feb. 27 at 10:56 a.m. it was reported that a 30-year-old Mosinee man, who had been in the custody of the Marshfield Probation and Parole department, had run out of the office before officers were able to take the man into custody. Officers were able to locate the man, who was hiding between vehicles in the parking lot, and transported him to the Wood County Jail.
