Marshfield baseball whips Wausau West for first win of season
Jasurda tosses four-hitter for Tigers

WAUSAU — The Marshfield baseball team grabbed its first victory of the season, using 10 walks to beat Wausau West 6-1 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Friday at West High School.
Scott Berg had two hits, and five different Tigers drove in runs in the victory.
Connor Jasurda tossed a complete-game four-hitter, striking out eight and walking four.
Marshfield (1-3, 1-1 Wisconsin Valley Conference) led 2-1 before busting the game open with a four-run seventh inning.
Logan Grunenwald was the losing pitcher for West (1-1 overall and WVC). He struck out 11 but walked 10.
Marshfield will play a nonconference doubleheader at Chippewa Falls on Saturday.
