After Hinson’s fifth 3-pointer at the 1:51 mark, the Tigers did not another make a basket from the field, but they made six of nine free throws to stay close.
Hinson’s two free throws with 26.5 seconds to go brought the Tigers to within four at 53-49. However, the team missed three 3-point attempts in the final seconds as West held on.
Hinson finished with a game-high 20 points, going 5 of 10 from 3-point range. The other Tigers missed all 16 3-point attempts they tried.
